CodeRed is our Children and Youth Ministry here at Cedar Street Baptist Church.
What's up with the name you ask? CodeRed has multiple meanings. In the New Testament of the bible, the words of Jesus are in red. While all words in the bible are important, it’s just something about the words that came directly out of the Saviors mouth. Red is also an acronym that stands for Reaching, Empowering and Discipling. Jesus’ earthly ministry consisted of reaching the lost, empowering the believer and discipling His servants. This is the mission of CodeRed: Focusing on the younger generation at CSBC and in the City of Richmond. CodeRed, a ministry founded on the Word of God, teaching the Word of God, and living it out. "But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God." Matthew 4:4
